Managing mental health in the workplace can be a challenge. To help you navigate the issue, MiTraining offers Mental Health First Aid Courses across Sydney.

Suitable for all managers, team leaders and professionals, our accredited courses deliver evidence-based mental health education. We equip students with the skills needed to support the people around them and lead a stronger, more supportive workplace.

Face-to-Face Mental Health First Aid® Training in Sydney

MiTraining delivers Mental Health First Aid courses across Sydney as a two-day face-to-face workshop. Face-to-face training ensures students have the opportunity to build their confidence and skills in supporting other adults who are experiencing mental health problems.

Students become equipped to provide initial aid that can make all the difference. As part of our courses, we cover common mental health events, including:

  • Suicidal behaviours
  • Panic attacks
  • Traumatic events
  • Psychotic states
  • The effects of alcohol or drug use
  • Aggressive behaviours

As part of your training, you will learn about the initial symptoms of these issues, and what you can do to provide effective support. This empowers you to strengthen your workplace teams and improve the wellbeing of other adults.

Become a Mental Health First Aider

Becoming an accredited Mental Health First Aider is a rewarding way to support your coworkers and expand your skill set!

Mental health concerns have become so common that learning how to provide aid to coworkers, friends and family is an amazing opportunity for all professionals. Throughout your training you will learn how to act as a support system for your communities. With your help, the people around you can improve their mental wellbeing, and that’s good for everyone involved.

Upon completion of a Mental Health First Aid Course at our Sydney location, you will be issued with a certificate from MHFA Australia. The certificate allows you to use the title of accredited Mental Health First Aider, which is a fantastic way to strengthen your resume and make a real difference to the people in your life.
