This course is structured into four modules:

1. Prepare to develop a personal budget

  • Income and expenses
  • Recording income and expenses

2. Develop a personal budget

  • Subtracting your expenses from your income
  • Identifying surplus or deficit budgets
  • Identifying the reasons for a deficit budget
  • Financial goals
  • Incorporating options into a budget plan

3. Implement and monitor personal budget

  • Following a budget
  • Recording expenses and income
  • Comparing the budget with actual amounts
  • Monitoring and updating a budget

4. Additional learning

  • The impact of different stages of life on financial goals
  • The role of credit and savings in managing a budget
  • The role of financial institutions
  • Calculate interest and loan periods

Course Duration

You have a full three months access to the learning resources to complete this course.
