Mental health crises covered

This course offers a deep dive into how to support those in distress and help them move through their Mental health crisis, including managing suicidal thoughts and behaviours, calming panic attacks or the aftermath of traumatic events, understanding severe psychotic states and drug use effects. Let's all learn the best ways to assist others so they can get back on track!

The Blended face to face Mental Health First Aid (Standard) course is delivered as an initial self-paced e-learning component (5-7 hours), followed by a face to face workshop of 5 hours.

After completing both course components, participants are eligible to complete an online assessment to receive a Certificate of Accreditation which is valid for 3 years. 


To participate in the course, you must first finish the self-paced eLearning modules. After that, you can attend the face to face workshop.
